Sunday April 6th 2025 was a very active Bornholm Runners day.
In Gdansk, Poland Marek and Michal ran the Gdansk Marathon

and in Berlin, Germany Daniel and Jesper ran the Berlin Half Marathon

For both events the weather situation was quite similar – Friday the temperature was over 20 Celsius while it dropped a little bit during Saturday but when waking up early Sunday the temperature was below zero and in Gdansk even light snow!
Marek and Michal did however both a great run and just missed the sub 4 hours target. Marek finished in 4 hours 1 minute and 5 seconds and Michal followed short after in 4 hours 1 minute and 55 seconds. It means Michal is still hunting his first sub 4 hour run but no doubt it will come under the right conditions. A huge congratulation to the two cool runners

In Berlin Jesper had trouble with the muscle in left leg and in fact he tried to find the way to give up the race during first kilometer. Later the body got used to the pain he finished the half marathon in 2 hours 10 minutes and 55 seconds. Daniel on the other side made a great run and finished in 1 hour 39 minute and 29 seconds.
This was for both Daniel and Jesper the 4th out of 6 SuperHalf Marathon. They now miss Copenhagen and Cardiff – both signed in for later this year.

All in all a great running week.
